Brief
The School Toilet Project is an innovative initiative to bring some much-needed joy, hope and inspiration to a space that is often avoided altogether, or used as a refuge when upset.
The project also has some high-profile support with renowned parenting expert Maggie Dent taking on the role of ambassador.
Solution
As part of this project, our team designed four mural artworks featuring bright colours and positive quotes.
The project started as a design and print project but evolved to include murals for more significant impact in each toilet (and cost-effectiveness!)
The murals were painted by the Straight Lines team during one week of the school holidays, and the results were immediate.
We have changed a dark, boring toilet block into a bright, positive and inspired space for the students.
We love them! The students were so excited this morning. Thank you.
