Griffith Women in Business Incorporated is a non-for-profit organisation, founded in 2017. Our director Belinda Johns is the founding president and the driving force behind the setup of the new organisation born from a desire to connect, collaborate and enhance the careers of Women in the community. Through members and partnerships, Griffith Women in Business provides an opportunity to enhance our community strengths.
Straight Lines Design and Marketing is a financial supporting partner of Griffith Women in Business.
As President and SLDM business director, Belinda and the Straight Lines team have continually donated their time and skills to design the brand, website, and communications.
The Griffith Women in Business Committee aim to create a community of women (and men) that is inclusive and supportive. Whether you are a business owner or an employee working full-time or casually or even in between jobs, the aim of the group is to create professional events to meet new people, build relationships and to be inspired.
Our team have been excited to drive the event planning and promotions for Griffith Women in Business, particularly the Michelle Bridges Keynote speaker event. With no budget to speak of, a brand new committee and organisation set up, Belinda work tirelessly to create a BIG launch event. From liaising Michelle Bridges management team to organising local sponsorships, ticket sales and producing marketing material our team were 100% behind this event and loved every second of it.
We are proud to have designed a website for GWIB which allows the group to feature member profiles, process membership sales, and showcase previous and upcoming events. Each committee member has access to the backend and can easily add or edit content as needed. As information sharing tools, we also set up social media pages including Facebook and Instagram and a Mailchimp template to communicate with members quickly and easily.
We love designing for print so we’re glad we have the opportunity to design membership and event flyers, pull up banners, posters and event specific material also.
