Design

It is agreed that the fee for service shall be the cost estimates provided above, unless work undertaken exceeds work outlined. If work undertaken exceeds the items specified,
The Client” agrees to pay appropriate fees for the excess work. Additional artwork fees are charged at $140 + gst per hour or as additionally quoted.

Extras

Except where stated, the following are not included in the quote and will be charged on an as-needs basis according to the following schedule: Additional photographic imagery, Couriers, Professional Printing / Signwriting, Copywriting, Advertising Expenses,  Web – Additional special features.

Billing - Deposits

A deposit invoice will be issued and full payment required prior to commencement of each task within the project.

Terms and Conditions

Commencement of work

The Client” agrees to provide written approval of this submission before any work is commenced, as a Letter of Agreement between “The Client” and Straight Lines Design and Marketing concerning the work outlined in this submission.

Payment

The Client” agrees to pay the requested deposit for commencement of work where required. “The Client” agrees to pay the invoiced amount within 14 days of receipt of an invoice.

Fees for service

It is agreed that the fee for service shall be the cost estimates provided in this submission, unless work undertaken exceeds work outlined. If work undertaken exceeds the items specified, or hours allocated to perform items in this submission, “The Client” agrees to pay appropriate fees for the excess work.

Excess Work

This is defined as any work involving additions to the list of items on previous pages or changes to all pieces of finished artwork after sign off by an authorised representative of “The Client” .

Copyright

It is agreed that “The Client” will have the exclusive right to retain and reproduce any artwork, manuals, information, material reports and other output which is produces for the performance of the work outlined in this submission. 

It is agreed that Straight Lines Design and Marketing hereby assign to “The Client”, upon written confirmation of this submission, all rights title and interest in the future copyright of any artwork, manuals, information, material reports and other output which is produced, extended or modified during the performance of the work outlined.

This granting of copyright does not extend to the use of working files or design proposals submitted but not approved by for the outlined work in this submission.

Confidentiality

It is agreed that employees of Straight Lines Design and Marketing shall not at any time either during the continuance of the work outlined or thereafter, except in the course of their duties, divulge any of the confidential affairs or any of its clients or associated companies to anyone whatsoever without the previous consent in writing of “The Client.”

Amendments to these Terms and Conditions

All and any amendments to the terms and conditions outlines in this submission must be provided in writing by “The Client” and signed by an authorised representative of Straight Lines Design and Marketing prior to the commencement of work outlined in this submission.

Stages of Work

Quote Acceptance: Client accepts estimate and makes Stage 1 Payment for work to commence.

Site Structure & Project Planning

Site structure, action plan, mini customer journey & content outline.

Creative & Build Stage: Stage 2 Payment before homepage concept

Initial homepage design, Initial home page lead capture, Home page Banner/s and Buttons presented.

CMS Site build, Enquiry form build, Basic page structure. Site ready for content.

Content Upload: Stage 3 Final Balance Due

Final content supplied by client and uploaded as per agreement.

Visual Elements Internal visual design elements finalised

Client Review/Changes Client review and changes requested and applied

Testing & Go Live Final testing required.

12 Month Hosting Invoice Due

Set launch date – Go Live.
